About this tool

Why doesn't the preview look exactly like the real app?
It's a deliberate, generic approximation rather than a copy of anyone's interface. What's accurate — and what actually matters — is the geometry: the crop at each aspect ratio, where the caption folds, and how much of a story the on-screen buttons cover.
Which aspect ratio should I use for a feed post?
Square (1:1) is the safest all-rounder. Portrait (4:5) is the tallest allowed and takes up the most space in a feed. Landscape (1.91:1) matches link previews but crops tall photos hard.
